What We're Building
The Greats is a sit-down interview podcast over the greats of history. We interview historians, biographers, and authors on history's greats. We've already sat down with pulitzer prize winning authors and podcasters like Ben Wilson from httotw.
The Role
We're looking for an editor for our YouTube intros only. Not the full episode, just the intros.
Here's how we think about them: not like a podcast clip. Like a youtube intro and movie trailer. We want to build cinematic intros that are well thought out and act as a trailer for the podcast as well as a hook for the video.
Each intro is approx 60-90 seconds. We do 4 per month, ongoing.
What We're Looking For
- An editor who thinks in terms of emotion and curiosity, not just cuts
How It Works
We start with a paid trial: one trailer. We'll send you roughly 2 minutes of footage and want back a 45 to 60 second trailer. If we're aligned on direction and quality, we move to 4 per month ongoing. We're picky. We're looking for a long term creative partner, not a freelancer we forget next week.
